"I am a self taught artist. As a child I always was drawn to art and making it, but growing up in an Indian family I was not allowed to pursue it, as 'art cannot be a career'. Years later in 2020, at age 32 after having a child; I finally picked up that brush to do what I always wanted to do. And in 2021, I gathered the courage and took the brave step of putting my artworks out to the world. I know it’s just the beginning but I know I belong here." – Partia
