Shane Bonsujet is a brilliant Melbourne-based contemporary artist with a powerfully original artistic voice. Edgy and compelling, his perceptive works are often driven by ironic but playful humour. "I'm self taught and create bright, bold and colourful works. My work can best be described as critical thinking/emotionally driven outsider art/brut/primitive/naïve but I often experiment in more traditional styles. I draw inspiration from many sources. Knowledge, memories, thoughts and life experiences allow me an endless supply of reference. I'm passionate about music, self development and growth, history and culture as well as trauma healing and love.
